Photoshop CS File Browser
When Photoshop Album 1.0 came out, I spent a lot of time organizing my digital photos in groups and subjects by applying the appropriate tags to each photo. Is there any way to import these tags into Photoshop as "Keywords" in the browser or in any other useful way? Regardless of the above, is there a way to use the browser's "keywords" in order to make complex searches? i.e. See all and only the pictures that have the keywords "People" and "Family" but excluding the ones that have the keyword "Black&White"? I know this may be complicated, but it will be useful for a lot of other users. Thanks Roberto Pensotti rpensotti@houston.rr.com
Don't know about the first bit but a quick glance at the search facility in the browser shows that this is possible and indeed very easy to do.
I've heard here that the format for the tags in Album is different and incompatable with that of CS.
Dave is correct regarding Album's tags being incompatible with Photoshop. There is a thread in this forum which discusses the issue in more detail but the short answer is that Album doesn't store the tags in the file metadata but in a database which Photoshop cannot access. --Steph
