Hi,

The practice of resubmitting a site to search engines was used a while ago with some success. But now - it is of little use and could be bad. Some search engine will take repeat submissions as "spamming" and could penalize the website.

You really do not need to submit to search engines... the fastest way to get search engines to index a site is to have a site link on a forum or other site that gets visited by search engine bots a lot.

The person can submit once to search engines if the site can not get a link from a forum, social networking site or popular website.
