Movies Problems
Hi All, I don't know where exactly to post this problem,,,,,, so here it is: when I go to this site and want to watch one of the movies, I get a windows Media notification "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. If the file is on another computer, verify that you are connected to the network. If you typed a path, verify that it is correct. If the problem persists, the server might not be available." .... I contacted the site manager who gave me a lot of bla bla and nothing works.... he said I am missing an element in my media player or something like that, Can anyone help? here is the page: http://yehoramgaon.com/?????.htm the site is in Hebrew but it doesn't matter, just try to click on any of the movies....... THANKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ensure that file is located at: 212.179.35.139/yehoram/קרובים קרובים/מה שבטוח.WMV 1)__ Make sure that the file name is not misspelled and the path of the file is correct. (Things You Should Try: Renaming the file; Upload file to another server 2)__ Be aware that an error message can also occur if you play an .asx file, and the .asx file refers to a path that does not exist. For example, the path may not exist because the content was reorganized on the host site. The path of the .asx file is correct. The problem is that a path embedded inside the .asx file is no longer correct. If you retype the path of the .asx file, this does not resolve this issue. Contents of your asx file points to 212.179.35.139/yehoram/קרובים קרובים/מה שבטוח.WMV 3)__ File may be corrupt .. upload again. Upload as "text" or "ASCII". Thanks Joe, but you misunderstood me...... the website is not MINE, I just want to watch the movies, so there is no way I can change the way its uploaded..... am I supposed to change the path on the windows player??
Oh, well, I'll give up and order the movies from Amazon.... hehehehe..... thanks for the try !
