Your Opinions on This Logo
I think it is a good start You may not have anything in print now, but you might want to think about the long-term effects of your site. You might want to promote your site at these meets and would need a logo for printed materials (business cards, flyers, posters, etc.) There are lots of opportunities to use a logo offline even if you have no major publications And if you make this logo permanent and find it difficult to use in print you will be faced with having to re-brand your site, or be forced to use something totally different in print, which is not a good idea since you want your printed materials to reflect your web site and vice-versa - branding is very important to success even for a site that does not generate revenue ![]() See if you can create the logo without the background - maybe incorporate a car into the lettering leaving the background transparent/white which will make it easier to print in the long run and then as joe suggested use CSS to style the background that the logo appears on.
