Why should I register?

In order to fully utilize this site, we require that you register as a member. Registration is free.

Below is a list of "membership" that you may apply to -- you have the option to choose either one. We do request that everyone becomes a PREMIUM Member at some point as it will help us expand our existing content. However, it is not a requirement.

To register, you will need to specify a username and password, and a valid email address. Entering your email address will not leave you open to 'spam', as you can choose to hide your email address, and messages sent to you via email do not reveal your address to the sender in any case. (To verify this, you can try sending an email message to another user.) We have configured the site to send you the final part of the registration process by email, so ensure that the email address you provide is valid and working.

If you are under the age of 13, we require that a parent or guardian provides consent before allowing you to complete the registration process. More information about this is available during the registration process.

Non-Registered Members

  3. Can view Testimonials on members
  4. Can rate content
  5. Can vote on Polls

New Registered Users (New Member)

Author Member

All Registered Members can upgrade their membership status to Author. The only requirements is that you must add at least 1 acceptable article/tutorial into our ARTICLES section.

Additional Permissions / Options:
  1. Can add/edit own content
  2. Can use Email to Friend
  3. Can upload/download attachments
  4. Can send Private Messages
  5. Can edit profile
  6. Can create polls
  7. Can edit site options
  8. Can use signatures (no advertising services)
  9. Can view who's online
  10. Can upload Avatar
  11. Can use Reputation system
  12. Can view Testimonials about self
  13. Can post Testimonials about others

Supporting Member

Similar to the Author Membership ... however, this title is given to members who donate a minimum of $25 to the STAFF via GTHELP.
